DIRECTIONS FROM VALENCIA AIRPORT

On leaving the airport, follow directions for the A-3 motorway in the direction of Madrid.  Keep on the A-3 (only a few kilometres) until you get to the exit for the AP-7 motorway, and take it in the direction of Alicante.  Somewhat confusingly, you will see the road referred to on signs as the A-7, the AP-7 and the E-15, but don’t worry, it is all the same road at this point!  The ‘P’ part signifies that you are on (or heading for) a section of the motorway that is a toll road.  The road does divide into the A-7 and the AP-7 after a few kilometers, but stick to the AP-7, which is the shorter route rather than the longer, old inland road.  You will go through a ticket booth where you take a ticket for the toll.  You give this up at a manned booth on leaving the motorway, at which point you pay the toll (about ?4 I think).   Keep on the AP-7 until Exit-60, which is the exit for Gandia and the N-332 road.  Take this exit, and head in the direction of Alicante down the N-332.  The N-332 is a coastal road, but incorporates a Gandia by-pass, so stick with the N-332!  As you go around Gandia on the n-332, ignore all signs for Gandia and keep following the Alicante signs until you have passed through one tunnel.  There are 2 tunnels – if you go through them both, you have gone too far!  Take the exit after the first tunnel (there is only the one exit between tunnels) and this is for the CV-675, which is our road.  Take the 675 in the direction of Barx/LaDrova (Gandia is the other way), and we are the first villa just after the 3 kilometre post, on the right hand side (almost immediately after a junction to the left). We front on to the road, so don’t head off up any side lane beside the villa!  There is a new service road outside our front, which you enter immediately opposite the junction, at which point you are now driving along the front of our property.

DIRECTIONS FROM ALICANTE AIRPORT

Take the A-7 toll motorway heading North (direction Valencia) from the airport.  The barrier to take the entry toll ticket from, is not immediately upon joining the motorway, as the first several kilometres are free.  Leave motorway at exit-61 (the toll is payable on exit).  This is the first Gandia exit heading north, and takes you on to the N-332.  You need to turn left on to the N-332 after the toll booths (signed Gandia).  Keep on this road – you will go through Palmyra and Bellreguard – and after Bellreguard you come to a large roundabout with palmtrees.   Stick on the 332 around the roundabout (turning left), and you will pass through a short tunnel.  Take the exit after the tunnel, and this is for the CV-675, which is our road.  Take the 675 in the direction of Barx/Ladrova (Gandia is the other way), and we are the first villa just after the 3 kilometre post, on the right hand side (almost immediately opposite a junction to the left). We front on to the road, so don’t head off up any side lane beside the villa!  There is a new service road outside our front, which you enter immediately opposite the junction, at which point you are now driving along the front of our property.

  • Spanish property news: good for buyers, terrible for sellers February 21, 2012
So, 2011 was officially the worst year for property sales since the Spanish property crash began in early 2008.  Sales were down 20% compared to 2010, which means they were almost 60% down from the halcyon days of 2007. Of course, this is no surprise given the parlous nature of the Spanish economy and the […]
